A lot of people make that mistake of calling a reincarnation anime an isekai. some reincarnation animes ARE isekais but not all of them. Slime is one, skeleton knight is one, living sword is one, but not this one.

Hate to break it to you all, but that's a Manhua. For others who don't know, what I mean: Manhua - Chinese Manhwa - Korean (the better one out of the 2) Manga - Japanese You can filter out the Chinese ones, if you look for the key words like : Imperial, Cultivator, Martial (arts), Emperor, Immortal, Strongest, Rebirth, Disciple(s)/Apprentice(s), Harem and last but not least a name from Chinese history. There must be ones I left out, but usually it's a mixture of these words with added flavor like "The" and "of"... for example : "The Martial arts Cultivator of the Strongest Immortal Rebirth" (I wouldn't be surprised, if this made up title would be an existing Manhua -.-") Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that all Manhua are bad. There are some, which are actually great (see "The Legendary Mechanic") and it should be decided by the reader, which is good or not worth your time. All I'm saying is that some of us might want to know beforehand, what this recap is about, so it should be made clear, that this is a "Manhua Recap" and not a "Manhwa" one.
