Kobus Mouton Disagree! Harteros is not bad but there are far better interpretations available for example the on the new album by Elina Garanca (ok years later) and the famous recording by the lovely Ingeborg Hallstein.

I always adored Teresa Stich Randall in that part. Today we are used to swifter tempos, and Anja Harteros is the most inspired artist in that part. Funny, at 3'02" a lady in the choir is much alike Angela Merkel
