Long time house fan, but became a dad about 12 years ago and clubbing went away, as it did from my city, Dublin. Came across this mix a few weeks back and I've listened pretty much non-stop, at home, in work, commuting, it's just joyour and reminds me what I've missed. @@HTehnique Thanks for asking! I did go and it was incredible. I stayed in a hostel for the 1st time in about 15 years and met some people from Argentina who had traveled for it. We went together and I danced on the Sunday for about 10 hours non stop. I can't wait to see them again, the vibe was so beautiful, everyone was so happy to be experiencing this wonderful music.

Frankie Knuckels is the God farther of deep house. ( read some books man..) The first few songs are break beat , not 4/4 so its break beat not deep house.. break beat , with chilled trance melody.. it's not deep progressive house . Listen to some south african deep house and you will hear deep house.. house afrika records is a starting point.

This is by far the best Anjunadeep compilation in many, many years. FINALLY, the deep, driving, melodic sound that made Anjunadeep what it is has started to come back.
