Beverly, i cant say i know exactly what you're going thru... But I put my mom thru the same shit. I've been clean for 4 months now and things are looking up. I dont know you but I love you. I can't imagine how soul-shattering it is for you, but just know there's nothing you did wrong or could've done better. Opiate addiction is a struggle unlike anything else in the world. It takes it's grip on us and there's nothing ANYONE can do to help us til we're ready. I know it might sound dumb now but you can look up meeting locations near you for families of addicts/ NA meetings and you'll be shown more love and support there than you could ever imagine. Sometimes it helps to connect with people who actually understand what we're going through and have been there themselves. Its one of those things you can't really grasp unless you've experienced it yourself. Stay strong girl.

When this video was released, I was more than 3000km away home with my sicky mom in a little city called Barretos, in the state of São Paulo. I was there with mom, dad and brother to take care of her, since she has a rare type of cancer. These songs were and are every season a medicine for me.
