This is a much more affordable alternative over something like a whole house standby gen or a Tesla Power Wall, way more affordable!!! Ideally you would want to pair this with a 30amp generator inlet box in your garage if you have one and a pretty decent solar panel array and a small gas/propane generator to charge the unit on cloudy days or days with little sun during a power outage . The downside to this unit is the size of the inverter at only 2400w or 20amps. The battery isn't very large either, even expanded a little over 4000 amp hours isn't a whole lot to run your house on but can be usable if you only prioritize essential loads like a refrigerator some lights a TV/router and only running high loads like a microwave only when needed.

The quick charge is a great feature

I have this model hooked up to a transfer switch in my house. It can power everything except my central air and my clothes dryer. You can have it continuously hooked up to panels for pretty much indefinite run time. Its a wonderful starter station.

I just bought it it's still hard on me to learn it. I got a light plugged in. The app is difficult. It doesn't show me how the light is consuming power.

Anker ToS: If you want full functionality (wireless connectivity, which is needed for firmware updates). Per section 17, any disputes are "governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China". If a dispute arises, it will be done "in accordance with the rules of the Shenzhen International Arbitration Court". "The language of the arbitration shall be Chinese." and "The place of arbitration shall be Shenzhen, China." In section 18. They can update the ToS at any time and the ToS "shall be deemed effective upon the sending by us of an email". They can put whatever [insert unimaginable terms here] they want and you have preemptively agreed to them.

Can they update it to not function? I am sure of this, but then again none of this stuff is US made so the tech is solely theirs
@BillyBobDingledorf3 ай бұрын
@@ScottieBMan They can update it however they want. If you don't like it, get on plane to Shenzhen China and fight it there.

Looks like a piece of junk……maybe not, but I doubt it. Let’s see a review in a year after it’s been used.

@@kerrytodd3753 actually it's built better than other powerstations I've reviewed. Seems like other reviewers have had good feedback with this product but I agree a long tern test/review is a huge factor of the quality

@@AllThingsCooldoes it have pass through solar where you can charge via solar and use it at the same time?
@AllThingsCool3 ай бұрын
