You forgot: 1) the north frankish ending (where the carolingian empire is split along orginally planned lines, resulting in neustria and austrasia both being in the german kingdom. norther france and the low countries are thus core german territory from its founding and this kingdom never becomes the hre due to greater focus and attension on defending northern coastlines. 2) the German Pannonia ending, Otto the Great pursues the magyars into pannonia and conquers them after lechfeld instead of going after the crown of italy. germany never becomes the HRE staying as the kingdom of germany, switzerland and the low countries stay german and german eastward colonisation includes more exentive and early settling of pannonia and the carpathians.
