Browser's two left are in the vertical position, can't find any instructions on how to make them horizontal, i.e. card rows on the top and individual cards on the bottom, rather than card rows in middle column and individual cards in right column.

Try pausing the video when I show the add-ons list. The ones in grey are add-ons I have turned off for now, but all the rest I would recommend. Stay tuned for more videos!

@@AnKingMed Where can I find the "put_All_due_learning_card_first"? I only see the anki 2.0 addon, also have you noticed any problems using pop up dictionary when on night mode on anki 2.1?

​@@Majorlarino69 haha you're getting ahead of yourself! I personally made that add on work for 2.1 so it is in my google drive and you'll have to manually install it. With pop up dictionary, you need to go to view->night mode->choose what to style-> uncheck "reviewer cards" drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-TGHV_5qo64hKJphP6OYTL96bFLjqmq2?usp=sharing

How did you get the days of the week letters (M, T, W, etc) on the side of the heatmap?

Hi Anking, hi everybody, I don't understand why the intervals of my NEW cards (blue ones) on anki 2.1 are so big to begin with ( again: 10 min hard: 1.1 months correct: 4.4 months easy : 11.5 months). Can someone help me lower them? Or is it normal? Thank u very much.

Anki 2.1 is slower (due to different toolkit), buggier, and with less addons. Why should i switch right now?

It is a tiny bit slower, but I have not had any issues with bugs or addons. Every add on I like is now available on 2.1 and there are some amazing add ons that are only available on 2.1 (i.e. highlight search results in browser, edit field during review, customize keyboard shortcuts, customize sidebar, etc). That being said, 2.0 and 2.1 are both very good and you can't go wrong with either!

Matt Coleman I’m not sure where you’re seeing a “favorites” on the side unless you’re talking about those with a heart next to them. If that’s what you’re looking for, the video shows how to add them

No way. Many add ons are still not available in 2.1.... I once switched to 2.1... didn't find the add ons I used to use regularly. Now thinking about going back.

I have downloaded the most recent version of Anki but it does't have the V2 scheduler. Not sure what's wrong.

I refuse to upgrade until all my addons are made compatible with 2.1. I don't care if I must use 2.0 for 10 more years; my addons are indispensable for me.

I don’t blame you! There are some cool add ons only on 2.1 however. But you can always switch back and forth :)

Is review heatmap add on available for ANKI 2.1.... where can I find it? I just upgraded from 2.0 to 2.1 after seeing your video. Is there good add on support for 2.1 now?

Yes, its still a beta so you have to manually install it, but it works great! github.com/glutanimate/review-heatmap/releases

@@flintfotographs Hi, i downloaded this beta version of review heatmap. But i have this problem. Days i reviewed more cards are appearing paler and days with less number of reviews appear darker. Actually it should be opposite na?... Can any one help me please?

@@favask2880 You are correct. The 2.1 version has lighter colors for more cards in night mode and darker colors for more cards in normal mode. Not sure why that is...

@@AnKingMed yaaa...I think night mode add on and heatmap add on conflicting. I found that someone raised this issue in GitHub. Donno whether they will fix it. Lemme know if you get any update

Anking how can I suspend all the cards and then unsuspend them as you go, I think you mentioned it in another video but I can't find it!

In the browser click on one card, then ctrl/cmd+A and then suspend (shortcut is ctrl/cmd+j).

Hi! Is there a way of getting back a non "grey scale" version of the interface? I just upgraded to 2.1 and where in 2.0 in "Browse", cards were alternatively highlighted in Blue and white, now it's grey and white and I feel that colors of the pictures in my cards are different too... I'm like disturbed. Thank a lot!

Unfortunately, I think that is just how the format of the new version is. I am unaware of any way to change it sorry!

There are multiple buttons scattered throughout the configuration depending on where you are. If you're reviewing cards, the shortcut is shift+2 and there's a button at the bottom that says "more." If you're in the browser, it is in one of the top menus and the shortcut is ctrl+j
