wish me luck...i got my friends a cozmo for christmas...and i am hoping at least one of 3 devices they own will be able to down load the app and connect with cozmo. first i watched videos on you tube about cozmo to see what he was all about. i searched the internet to see where i might purchase him. then this morning, i made some calls to see who had them and what they charge. toys are us had them on sale for 124.99, which was the cheapest i could find for a new (not used) one. i just got the white version at toys r us, on sale for $124.99 (the liquid metal version was slightly cheaper, but i like the white version)....and at the same time i applied for their charge card and got an additional 15% off, so my total including tax was $113 and some cents. i had to charge at least 5 dollars of my purchase to the charge card, so i did and paid the rest with a bank checking account card. SuperdanTech I have a question. Do you really need WiFi to use Cozmo. I see you connect to Cozmo WiFi and it seems that's a way to keep your privacy safe. The question is do you actually have to have WiFi at home? Is it like the setup of the Amazon Echo? I don't have WiFi just my phone data provider which I guess i could use as a hotspot 😓 Thank you for your time.

Both MAX and Cozmo are excellent robotic systems. The good thing about MAX is that you build it and you can also build different shapes. With Cozmo, using Constructor Mode or Python language, you have a lot of programming possibilities (games and tricks). Thanks for coming back to my channel!

I tried in one of my videos to wait for a while to see if Cozmo would find the third cube to build a pyramid but he never did. The last cube was hidden behind the base of the pyramid. The code could be improved to have Cozmo "walk" around a few centimeters if there is no cube in his line of sight. Anyhow, it was interesting to see his reaction! Thank you for visiting my channel.

It's too late to test it now but I don't think it makes a difference. The tabs are for keeping the batteries fresh I think. Thank you for visiting my channel and commenting on a few of my videos. We played with Cozmo yesterday and today and I don't think it makes a difference as to when you remove the battery tabs during the installation process (if it did, Anki would have put a warning message on the cubes to avoid thousands of customer calls and bad reviews!). The reason I am saying this is that every time you start the App, Cozmo setups his wifi network and connects with his cubes. Same as during the setup process. If some people had issues, it could be related to wifi interference or phone type.
