It's so cool having vector rolling around on my bed while I relax and do homework. He's already finding his way into my heart lol. Anki you guys have inspired me to gear my engineering education toward this strange and exciting field of behavioral robotics and AI. Cant wait for the updates and vector SDK! I want to learn everything about this awesome little guy!!

Yeah once it's merged with the world's most privacy intrusive AI, Alexa, it will be able to speak all the languages Alexa speaks in while also selling all of your privacy data to third parties as Alexa is notorious for doing. Anki announced this merge should be ready by the end of the year.

@HiddenPalm Yes but Google does this too, but I think Anki doesn't accept it. Because this is what they are saying: your photos are never sent to or stored in the cloud and Vector only connects to the cloud after you use his wake word. You can tell because his back will light up so your data is encrypted between the robot and the cloud and your audio recordings are converted to text before being processed after which time they are deleted and of course you can turn Vector off completely so none of the sensors are on at all.

@ProNapero Jonne Vector is only out for a few days now. Cozmo had in the beginning almost no games too. Just like Vector does now. Almost no entertaining, but he will have more. Also remember Cozmo is more for child's just to play games. Vector is meant for adults.

Anki has been secretly worming with Amazon to merge it's AI with the worlds most notorious privacy intruding AI, Alexa, even though it marketed as a device that respects your privacy not as a 3rd party data selling Alexa toy. Anki said this Alexa merge should be ready by the end of the year.

*Vector* arrived on Monday! 😍 Unfortunately, I don't have a phone/tablet that can run the app. 😢 However I have a new Kindle Fire Tablet on order. 😁 But it won't arrive until Friday! 🙄 _(Jeopardy theme is playing in my head....)_

My Fire tablet arrived and I was able to get it to play to Vector. However I ran into a difficulty. The Fire tablet app may have a length restriction on the password field for the login to the ANKI account. I typed that danged PW in 6 times, checking each time, and it would not accept it. I finally tried changing the PW for a shorter one, and that worked fine.

@Seyi Oke It is already very old. It is the same like Samsung never shows a old model again. They don't focus anymore on Anki Overdrive because of all the bugs are fixed and he works how he has to.

let me tell you something before u buy vector, if you buy vector, you will just play with it for about a 2 weeks or so, because its god damn boring, you should just buy nintendo switch or dji drone. i owned cozmo before, after 2 weeks i sold it and buy a dji spark, its was fucking worth it.
