Hey, you can use a dual-axis chart if u have a target(Area chart) and sales(Column chart) data in Tableau. It will give meaningful insights. For instance calculated field : excess of sales = sum(sales) - sum(target).

The comparison between SQL and Tableau is so helpful. I have a query if SUM(Sales) is running sum or sum for that quarter at 22:15 . Please help how to understand difference in Tableau

Running sum can be done in both right. Like in Feb it will be sum of Jan and Feb sales both. What is the confusion here ?
