I agree with high cost of living and small space. Just booked a sharehouse near nishi waseeda. Rent is 56k Yen per month including all taxes. Good thing is room is furnished with bed, table, fridge etc but kitchen and shower shared. Moving from India to Tokyo on Jan 3rd. Hopefully I will be able to meet you! 😅

Hello from USA One thing I don’t understand is, when people living in Japan , who earn in yen , say that Japan is expensive. How can earning of Japanese yen is not compared to Indian rupee but spending on daily things in Japan is said to be expensive and that is after converting it in Indian rupee. When people earn in a particular currency , then spending in that currency should be ok right? Instead of throwing away the furniture and pay money why can’t it be given to charity or organizations as Red Cross who help people in settling them if they have lost all their stuff in a natural disaster like tsunami? I wonder how Japanese people will react to American homes? The first few minutes of filming in the beginning of the video which was outside was really nice. I like the vibe of day today living in any country . Especially dawn and dusk time.

That protest is blown out of proportion in Indian media lol. No international media is giving it any importance, cuz fringe/minor protest like this always happen in EU and USA. Only few hundred people joined in that protest, it looked like there were more police than protesters there. And no there is no movement in Japan happening that promote "Japan for Japanese". Such protests mainly occur in EUROPE and USA ( think about Trump wanting to build a wall, UK's brexit to avoid immigration, KKK still being activein USA ). I can even say that opposite thing is happening in Japan, most people in Japan ( aside from right wing nut jobs, the same people who deny Japanese war crimes btw ) are actually pro immigration as their population is declining ( but they would want you to learn Japanese language and culture first )
