Great video! I just got this type of surgery in 2024, and my surgeon said that instead of horizontal screws to hold the ankle bones together, they now often use something like a suture, because it allows a tiny bit of flexibility. (I got screws in the metal plate on my fibula tho).

I fractured it while playing football and it felt weird asl like when I was on the. Ground my ankle felt lose and like someone was squeezing on it at the same time. But when I got up that’s when pain came screaming in my ankle. Then they had to open my ankle up and replace the bone for surgery. Just giving you guys a break down if what it feels like and what they had to do to get surgery

Im healed now but i cant bend it all the way i can walk on flat but to walk up a hill is painfull but im good otherwise i cant wear boots or shoes any more they make my heel burn so slippers save me

trimallular fracture 9 mos ago, hardware to be removed at one yr (24/7 pain). im 68, osteoporosis, i cant find proof the the "9 HOLES will fill in" . if so, a followup exray of asimilar patient would prove it. do u have one?
