I'm vehemently opposed to Donald Trump as a political figure. But the overriding immeasurably distinction of Vivek's scant heritage in America from Trump's family's extended heritage is over a century of living and being enculturated in the United States. With more extensive insight into the sociopolitical depth of the United States experience as an American. Unlike Vivek, uttering a bunch of theatrically practiced clichéd ear-catching highlighted American historical events. A first-generation American had no intrinsic interest in voting until recently. Why is Vivek's zeal in the American electoral process so precipitous? Likely Vivek coveting some clandestine avarice. And what spurned Vivek's overnighter theatrically bizarre hyper-jingoism?

Coulter the WASP queen is stating that the USA should be run by those with full or partial WASP lineage. I don’t believe her when she makes the generation argument. The Angles tribe migrated (or invaded) to the British Isles from present day Germany & Denmark and settled chiefly in England & parts of Scotland where they formed kingdoms. The Saxon tribe origins are in present day Germany & the Netherlands. Some Saxons migrated (or invaded) west to the British Isles where eventually they merged with the Angles tribe to form what we call Anglo-Saxon. The Angle and Saxon people are two of the Germanic tribes. The Angle people spoke English, which is derived from the German. Language. Trump is considered to be Anglo-Saxon.

Am I american yes, but my immigrant parent mindset is still part of my upbringing, Would I vote for his kids or grandkids , yes I would consider it. But I wouldn't consider him, because I too would find him to be too indian. And I am not Ann coulter or a racist just a person that has immigrant parents too. I would feel the same about a russian, an irish, a chinese or a mongolian etc etc etc

I think she's right. We have clear examples of individuals in congress that are first born that show more loyalty to Palestine than they do to the US. I like Vivek too and seems very intelligent but we don't know his parents loyalty to India, how he was raised and how that might affect his foreign policy once in office.

I don't know why people keep calling him an Indian, he is American. I am an Indian living in India. I will be an Indian until I change my nationality but he was born in the USA how come he is an Indian???? my people also call him an Indian. Let us say he is elected he will work for the USA, not India. as he should because if someone is born in another country no matter his background, loyalty should be to that country. The USA has more religion and race involved in politics than India. Indian currency doesn't have "in god we trust" as US currency notes have. Indian PM doesn't take oath on Hindu religious book PM takes oath on Indian constitution, not some religious book. his or her job is to uphold the Indian constitution which gives everyone equal rights. so this is a symbol that everyone is equal. Now compare that to the US president taking oath on a religious book that tells all about what they want to show to the Christian people, that president is here to serve you. The US has these people who view India and Hindus as Satan worshippers because religion is different. US politicians openly talk about Christianizing America and yet this is not religious involvement in politics. I have no problem with the USA being a Christian country or banning other races from being in top positions like President. But then please stop calling yourself a Democracy, stop publishing the reports on minorities around the world and ranking other countries. It is like Saudi Arabia publishing a report and ranking the USA on minority freedom.

Ramaswamy isn’t an immigrant and Coulter knows. She’s using code language that bigots often use. It took her approx 30 seconds after being introduced to let him know where she stood, and he later admitted being surprised that it happened so early into the interview. That speaks volumes. Don’t believe for a second she would actually vote for his kids if she had other options. She is a hardcore WASP actually between the lines, she really believes that WASPs ought to be in the seat of power. She made a point of pointing out that all US Presidents were either of full or partial WASP ancestry, and a Christian, and this includes Obama. She also made a delineation for Christian presidents and Catholics presidents, of whom the latter, WASPs historically are weary. Ramaswamy is neither a WASP nor a Christian. Same for his wife who birthed his children. Unless his children pull a Nikki Haley move: marry a WASP and convert to Christianity, they’re unlikely to get a serious look from the king-making ruling class WASPs in this country.

Correction: the Southern and Western regions of the United States after Indigenous Native Americans were not Mexicans as we know them today. They were the descendants of North African Moors who had occupied Spain and Portugal for over 400 years. Multitudes of Moors had converted to Catholicism during this period in Southwestern Europe. The Spanish Conquistadors were primarily Spanish Moors who converted to Catholicism. The descendants from Spanish Moor Conquistadors from Spain settled in the aforementioned regions of the United States..

You erroneously inferred, that I stated Cortés was a Spanish Moor. I should have stated the fact that the men who were members of the Conquistadors were by far predominately Spanish Moors. Descendants of the North African Moors who had occupied Spain, Portugal, and regions of Southern Europe who had converted to Catholicism during the over 400 years of occupation in regions of Southern Europe. Mexican is a Nationality not a race and Many of the many Native tribes were once upon of time Mexicans too, because that was Mexican territory until US took it. Spain mas colonize by the moors correct and some mixed with them but youare mixing two different things. Mexicans were descendent of Natives and Spanish mixed race people whos Native ancestors were there thousands of years before the colonizacion and before US came to exist. Not all Native descendents are registered with tribes. Many tribes were wiped out and others didn't registered because they didn't trust the government. Other tribes ended up with some of them on one side of the border and others on the other side.

I'm Indian, I've seen this story before. It's about moving the goalposts. Doesn't matter how rich or educated you are. Some folks like to assume they can still gatekeep you by thinking their stamp of approval matters, by which they can control how far you rise. Fortunately, a plurality of the American people and the system don't tolerate this kinda stuff the way they used to in the 80s and the 90s anymore. America now understands that in this dog-eat-dog world if it is to compete with the likes of major nations it cannot afford to waste people's potential and the resources it invests in them by gatekeeping them using arbitrary means.

It has nothing to do with racism but I only mention it regarding POC. Natural born citizen just means you’re a US citizen who never had to naturalize. The only recent Presidential candidate who technically was not a natural born US citizen was John McCain, born in the US Panama Canal Zone and given US citizenship by an act of Congress in 1937, after he was born.

hmmm. a distiction without a difference. Vivek's son is 4 years old; he can't run for president for another 30+ years. Ann is 62-- she may not be alive to vote for Vivek's son, assuming he'd want to be president anyway. In short, London's mayor is British Indian; Britain's Prime Minister is an British-Indian-Hindi-- Ann doesn't want to see that happen in America-- presumably during her lifetime!

I understand. I work with a lot of Caribbeans who migrated to the US and they are strongly democratic. I find that because they themselves are / were immigrants to this country, they defend immigration because they closely identify as being an immigrant. I agree there certainly were Africans in the Americas way before Columbus. I believe the earliest example of archaeologists discovery of African skeletal bones dated back to 1250 A.D. I wouldn’t say we are the real Indians in the sense Christopher Columbus misnaming a group of people or the fact “Native Americans” migrated to the Americas between 12,000 to 30,000 years ago. What’s factual is there were millions of Native Americans inhabiting the Americas, but we don’t know for sure how many Africans were in the Americas. As an African/Black American, it’s important not to erase another ethnic group’s history in order to tell the full history of African/Black Americans. One ❤✌🏿
