This is a fantastic effort, however very difficult to understand you. You speak much too quickly. Your words run together.

On the first question asked in this video concerning Ann Walker's health (ie queer discomforts) In Helena Whitbread's volumes on Anne Lister, Anne writes often of her own treatment for a venereal disease she got from Mariana that Mariana got from her husband Charles. It was thought perhaps to be an easily passed disease, not syphilis or gonorrhea but 'Trichomoniasis' per modern medical suggestion per Whitbread. Lister also passed this disease on to Isabella. She was never given a cure only the odd treatments of the day. So it makes sense she would have infected Ann Walker as well.

Interesting presentation. I’m unclear, did you write a book about Ann Walker? I would love to read it.

Do you have any idea why Anne called Ann, “Adney”?
@jamalyncampbell30022 жыл бұрын
She seems to have been named after a Swiss bridge. Anne loved this bridge and had a small version of it built at Shipden. We see the carriages cross it several times in the TV series.
