Preserving the memory of Anne Lister

This video is from our 'Anne Lister - In Her Words' exhibition, and showcases how our conservation team care for Anne Lister's diaries, passport, portrait and letters from the Shibden Hall collection at our Calderdale Archives.
From April 2022 visit the West Yorkshire History Centre, Wakefield, for a unique chance to see archival material from the Shibden Hall collection including Anne’s famous diaries on display. Find out about the life of a remarkable woman in her own words during this year-long exhibition.
