You give me here a great mantra and I think suddenly I get the instant freedom: " I don't need anybody to change to be ok". Wow, that does the trick for a personality like mine and a lifetime of trying in vain. I did change trying so fullheartedlly to change others, that was probably the point of the adventure. I don't need anybody to change to be ok! Love and thanks for this inspirational interview.

Lovely conversation with Anna. In response to Deida's advice discussed at 27:45 : Over 18 months ago, I intuited a need to choose solitude. I have listened for a 'voice' of purpose steadily and patiently, while living a nearly solitary existence 24/7. Alas, despite my best effort, at this point it might be time to try something else.

Super interesting, thanks for sharing your experience. I'm still figuring this out as we speak as well and I believe that there are many roads to the mountain. I do feel like a participation in life is very important for me personally while retreating regularly to find moments of stillness and solitude. That keeps me going, moving internally and externally. Let's keep me updated on how you progress. ❤️

Thank you for the interview! When I really got it - that "thoughts" are not things, that they are concepts, concepts are not things, they are just thoughts. For example if you think you are depressed - You are Not depressed - the thoughts are. So once you see that - You realizes thoughts are NOT What you are. They start to have less of a hold on you and a The state of Beingness is seen, which has always been there.

It is just lovely to convey how natural and grounded true realisation is. Theres no conditions to it and nobody is special, it’s just what one is. All the spiritual and religious nonsense is so heavy and keeps you in a loop away from meeting what is.

@@goingoutlookingin. If you get past all the illusions and distractions. The whole point of life is really to discover your unique gifts / characteristics and learn how to embody them in form which also merges you into the complete whole, you just become unique furniture that’s inseparable to everything else, and the qualities you have to share can’t be showed off or used to pump any image you have yourself because that’s just what is and what you are.

I used to think Anna was awake and pure. But if you look closely and try to feel without trying you notice that she is forceful, she has a hard time listening. I am sure she holds on to past realization she may had. May love guide us all, no effort, no force, no crazy eyes, just let go.

I am unfamiliar with the author you speak of roughly 30 minutes in, but I wished to comment on the solitude you and Anna were discussing regardless. What you speak of reeks of shamanism. The shaman is always realized through solitude. The process of realization, of using time in solitude to understand how to "hear the voice," is understood as the process of rebirth. The solitude kills the person and births the shaman. Investigate this archetypical trend, and one sees it constantly. In my view, this is critical to understand.

A musician may have some difficulty with the alleged non-existence of 'linear time'. Given that music must essentially be played within a coherent, dare I say 'meaningful', tempo. Yes, what matters is the note or structure that you are playing 'now', but those structures can often portend further embellishments that are to come, or be heightened embellishments of what 'was'. And this is something that both the performer and listener can be cognizant of. And where is the alleged 'now' when a symphony is being performed? It's the very flow of this non-existent time that is embellishing the music with 'power, invoking memory through various motifs that have already been played and potentially alluding to something yet to manifest with greater or lesser dynamics. And all of these subtleties may require repeated listenings to be fully appreciated and all of this takes....time.
