The sweetest voice of a girl when she speaks with the maturity of a diva when she sings with the prowess of a song writer and musician when she plays. An incredible talent, timeless and a classic. I want to be hearing her music being made in 30 years time.

One of my favourite Calvi songs. I was captivated when I first heard it. I found it very strange and mystifying and I love the way she explains it here.

The multi-instrumentalist working magic in the background - talented lady. The harmonium (?) works well.

Anna Calvi ... Oh My God !!!! .. "you guys" are so Freakin' Awesome !! .. I have your tunes stuck in my head all day long and I find myself singing them just out of the blue... I love this band sooo much !! Please keep "Rockin my World" ... :-)))

There's quite a few vids of this song knocking around but this has to be one of the best not only because Anna explains how she wrote the song but we gat a more indepth view of the instrumentation. The view really gets to feel the song thanks to the video footage.

she's one of a kind. the way she can switch from her as a person to an artist/performer/alter ego is just amazing. extraordinary.

She's musically self-referential and so very derivative but the artists she borrows from are such iconoclasts and so undervalued and her trademark song-construction and melody so lovely that I can't help but continue to support and sing her praises. Special woman and a wonderful guitar player.

@harryf200 I didn't mean her competing with arcade fire. I meant she has one musician in the background who plays more instruments than half of arcade fire combined. How she managed to find somebody so talented is beyond me.
