Man if you think this is great guitar playing you need to check out people who can really play.... shes just using a boat load of distortion...reverb etc and creating dissonance with the odd blues scale in a very uncontrolled way ...bit of a racket...that said i suppose to people who listen to your typical "cool edgy " indie type stuff where a guitar solo is a dirty word lol and who would avoid your typical guitar nerd type music like van halen or rush etc shed be kinda impressive ....im not saying that shes terrible.... its just shes no john mayer or steve vai...i only checked this clip out as another youtube guy raved how an amazing guitarist she was...ah well just because i dont like it doesnt mean its rubbish though...for a up and coming female artist who can really play her instrument check out Arielle....

I just heard her on the radio. Just seen this performance. FUCK. The voice of Shirley Bassey with the guitar of Jimi Hendrix and then put them in someone who could pass as Kylie Minogue. I could have seen her last year at the Bluedot Festival. However she was unknown to me and I was in the mood for EDM. Bit gutted really. Hopefully I'll see her another time.

I beg to differ about the guitars... she plays very touch-sensitively with only a few effects. The same effects one might find built in in a sixties tube amp. Nothing gimmicky. Just rock'n'roll at its finest.
