The one and ONLY Anna Devane returns to General Hospital! She arrives at the island to rescue her daughter Robin Scorpio and the others... upon seeing Robert Scorpio after supposedly being dead all the years... she greets him by kicking his ass!...LOL

I believe that Luke knew OF Anna, but had never met her. But this isn't the Robert, Anna, Luke, and Holly of te 80s and 90s. This is a comical attempt at incorporating history. Holly and Anna would have never went at it like that. They were always pretty sweet to each other. Holly and Robin were really close, too. The only thing in character about this entire exchange is Lulu's reaction, & Robin and Anna's relationship. Robert and Anna were good parents. So glad Guza is gone.

They did recast Anna with another Briish actress-Camilla Moore, when Finola Hughes left GH at the end of ' 91. But she didn't take with the audiences. She was let go. Finola Hughes came back for one episode. Daytime's James Bond and Emma Peel!

do they ever sit around and say, "hey, everyone here has been presumed dead like 3 times?" especially Luke like 5 times.. anyway, I wish I was around to be a writer at this time because I have no idea why they had to bastardize everything that was great about anna & robert to bring them back... I mean, we know it's not the actors. luke, holly, anna, robert are all fantastic. the dialogue and the concept is just horrible. so upsetting. I mean, they could have done a cycle where he had made a torturous decision to leave to protect her, and it killed her, and then when she found out, they reunited... and did like a That Old Feeling subplot with them fighting and making up, fighting and making up...

By the time Anna came on the show, Luke was off in Texas with Laura or already on the run from Frank Smith.

Laura and Luke finally left the show in 1984. Anna joined the show in 1985 until 1992. However, Anthony Geary joined the show as Bill Ekert from 1990-1993. Laura and Luke returned to the show in 1993 and Laura was on and off after that. Robert and Anna were on and off again with Anna now permanent and, as well as Laura’s, but Luke is now gone.
