When you haven’t rehearsed something and you’re put on the spot, the air leaves your lungs and you get body chills and even shakes. Especially when you feel you can’t just go off cuff like when there’s NDA’s for no spoilers and what not. She handled some mega pressure perfectly well, she seems like a down to earth person trying to be big energy for a big show that’s important for her project. She’s a national treasure imo.

Vapor pressure for mercury is such that unless you’re working with it in large quantities in a confined space, you’re not breathing a significant amount, especially from the quantity left by a thermometer. It cannot penetrate the skin, unless you’re handling it with open wounds, you’re fine.

Public speaking unrehearsed can cause your lungs to just stay empty, only allowing shallow breaths, body chills and shaking can start. I think she was just unrehearsed in this interview. I think she might be with a little pot, but definitely not pilled out. Been around crowds of people in all kinds of drugs for 30 years and I think she was just a little nervous and maybe had an edible thc before going on for nerves. There was a little bit of cotton mouth. She’s a brilliant comedian and I’d watch anything she had a creative hand in.
