I love the saying “being in good hope”. We use the word “expecting” instead of pregnant. I am so happy for you and Tommy. You are so blessed! ❤️🙏

I usually Knit while I watch your episodes. Most of the time I will have tea or coffee and a sweet of some sort. Typically there's a dog in my lap. This is my time to relax! Congratulations on your upcoming new title "mommy". It's the best one you will ever have, although Grandma is pretty great too!!! Happy Knitting!

When I am watching your show, I watch. Early in the morning so I can drink my coffee and not miss a single word. I like to watch it all at one time even if you have a long episode. And then if I rewatch it I can watch it in parts while i'm going about my day eating my dinner sitting on the patio knitting whatever. I just love it and I am so glad you make videos for us.

I'm always excited to see when you have a new KZbin video out. I save it for the part of my day that I can grab a cup of coffee or tea (depending on my mood lol) and sit on my corner of the couch where all my current wips reside (both knitting and crochet) and stitch away as I get to spend some time with a dear friend from Germany. I also love the German word of the day. Reminds me of when my Grams would teach us German words. Thank you for such a relaxing stress free hour 🥰.

So nice to see you Anna and all of your lovely knits. I have been praying for you and your little one. I really enjoyed your description of the German terms used for pregnancy and I love calling one who is pregnant as " filled with hope!" I agree that we should bring that title back, and in every language. I usually watch yout podcast while I am washing dishes or folding laundry, though sometimes Im just able to enjoy it while I knitting 😊 God bless you, Tricia

Congratulations on reaching 8K subscribers! I haven't knit with either Opal or Sport weight yarn before. I live with MS and spend a large portion of my time in bed, so I either watch your videos while lying in bed or if I'm having a good day, I sit in my recliner and knit while watching KZbin on the TV. I'm grateful to have access to the technology we have available these days to not only relieve the boredom and gain inspiration, but to witness the joy in so many people's lives....... when i struggle to find joy in my own life, it's so important for me to look outside myself and find it in others! 💜💜💜 I'm looking forward to seeing what you make for your little one!

Love to watch you as I cook breakfast and drink coffee. I also like to watch in the afternoons when all my chores are finished. In America, we use to say "with child" instead of pregnant, but nowadays, most people just say pregnant or even preggers. Some slang used is "she has a bun in the oven "(pregnant). I think we just use the same verbs for feeding animals and people.

The baby blanket is gorgeous! I usually watch you as I am crafting, either knitting or papercrafting. Always have a cup of latte or coffee, too. The word for pregnancy, either for human or animal varies throughout the US, depending on regional use or profession. I grew up using 'pregnant' for human and animal. The word pregnant was once considered vulgar and so 'expecting' or 'with child' was used, especially on TV.

Always watch you on my pc while knitting. I like you being so organised and determined, with strong opinion and so feminine at the same time :) When talking about being pregnant we (in Latvian) in old days used to say "being in hopes" (in plural) but not anymore. Now we say " being in condition or situation state" or being pregnant (and this word in Latvian comes with root "heavy", "being heavy".) But for you I wish all the good hopes blessed by St. Mary, Mother of Our Lord!

Congratulations for reaching 8000! You have such a lovely podcast. I watch your videos sitting at my desk between home chores working on my cross stitch, knitting or crochet. My absolute favorite knitting is vanilla socks, and then garter stitch dishcloths. Just basic things, but they bring me such joy and satisfaction. My motivation is not sitting idle! It drives me to distraction to not have something to do with my hands. My grandmother was the same. Far as trends, my husband said the other day that I was born in the wrong time. I've always been out of sync with modern life. I have been alarmed and appalled by the demonisation of men for a few decades now.The world needs masculine men and feminine women who embrace their differences and appreciate them. My latest audiobooks have been essays by G K Chesterton, Canoeing in the Wilderness by Henry David Thoreau, and today Two Old Men by Leo Tolstoy. Wishing you a blessed day.

Anna, you have many comments and I didn’t have time to read them first before posting this. Firstly, congratulations! I am not surprised you are pregnant. I had all the faith in the world you would receive such a gift. I heard you about your colours for your new baby. As recently as 80 or so years ago, blue was a colour for girls and pink for boys. Why? Blue is the colour of Mary the Madonna and pink is a lighter shade of red, the usual colour of military uniforms (if you’re British or from a Commonwealth Country). So, perhaps knowing this, you can knit what you love and without concern. I love to watch your episodes in the late afternoon while knitting and drinking tea. 💖
