Marcel Audubon the Met Orchestra is one if the best in the world , to enter the musicians made really difficult auditions. They deserve to be respected. They are great artists and is a real tragedy that they and all of the work force of the Met are not being paid. Netrebko sells tickets to the idiots that don’t know anything about Opera.

i love anna netrebko with all of my being, but this piece did not suit her voice. it would've been better had a lighter and brighter soprano sang this piece. russian is a strong and powerful language, however that does not mean that it always needs to be sung by a dark and powerful singer. this video makes the met scream "we are using our cash cows". i feel bad for anna, she has such a beautiful voice.
