Anna Paquin born 24 July 1982 is a Canadian-born New Zealand actress. She made her acting debut in the film The Piano (1993) for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at age 11, making her the second-youngest winner in Oscar history. Joey Jeremiah I don’t think it’s that. She won as a kid. Not a “kid” like we say today; she was a child. It’s overshadowed her entire career and she knows it. Also, she spoken about it *so much* that it would be even slightly annoying to me or you as an adult. I’d like to think I wouldn’t be as dismissive but she didn’t really come back on the public’s radar until True Blood. That’s a long time and of course they’re all going to as about being the second youngest winner.

What's to be salty about? At least she has one. Most of the really good performers are fortunate enough to be nominated. Just imagine how they feel when they get nominated several times and don't win.
