I have been telling people on multiple forums that legally, under a Contempt of Congress Citation {which by the way is a felony carrying a 5 year prison term}, the Speaker of the House has the authority to take a witness into custody, through notitying the Sergeant at Arms of the House to have the Capitol Police place the witness in a secure area of the Capitol Building to be held indefinately until prosecution. There have even been attorneys that proclaimed I was full of it and didn't know what I was talking about. So much for their vaunted degrees from prestigious universities. I'm just a person who does his homework and believes in the truth.

I’ve been saying this for years. He certainly can arrest Garland. He also has the authority to escort every member of congress out the door and seize their entry pass the very instant they violate their other of office. Their votes only count when it’s supported by the Constitution.
