This seems like it would have been the point in Tyler's life after he had risen to mega-fame from success in The Midnight, got into drugs, went through rehab, had a spiritual awakening and then finally wrote this at age 50. Amazing how he can switch gears between this singer/songwriter 70s style and the ultra cool 80s synth sound of The Midnight at will. Huge fan here. Love you Tyler!
