I'll make it public! Sawai will likely retire in season 2. There will be flashbacks, though. Hiroyuki Sanada will either end or move on to the next generation. This is where Sawai's daughter comes into play. In fact, Akechi Mitsuhide died, but his descendant was the wet nurse of Iemitsu, the third Tokugawa shogun and known as the great shogun ^_^
