Anna Thorvaldsdottir - Orchestronics/Mike Gao

In this electronic performance event, contemporary orchestral music meets electronic music, experimental hip hop, and drone music. Composer Anna Thorvaldsdottir performs new electronic pieces, premiering electronic collages of her written music for orchestra. The concert will be a unified audio--visual experience, as the music will be accompanied by video art by the composer. The concert will also feature guest performances by LA-based experimental DJ Mike Gao and Icelandic sound artist Curver, who will perform their own remixes of Anna's music.
