Anna, I cannot begin to tell you how much you have helped me to believe in myself. I may not want to live your life but you inspire me to be the best version of myself. Before I found your channel I believed that I should not socialize because I was not worthy of other people’s time and I felt guilty whenever a man paid for me or gave me gifts. Whenever I am feeling a little lazy I just put one of your podcast episodes and I instantly get motivated. I know that you have heard it many times before but you are one of the most high caliber women on the internet and you are one of my role models because you are such a well balanced woman. You are both sweet and strong, both creative and disciplined, you have high standards yet you are not judgmental. I hope you see this comment and get a smile on your face. Thank you.

2:41 I was at Sephora's in Strasbourg/France. The lady helped me to find the perfect tone and undertone for me. She was very good, found the perfect match by her first try. Then she took 4 other shades (wrong undertone and wrong colour) to show me the differences (in my face, on my neck and on my arm). This was very helpful and I'm very thankful to her. The right undertone is VERY important, it makes the difference! Thank you for your video/-s, it's/they are very helpful for me. A wonderful new week to you and your lovedones. I always take time to cut out the loose threads from my outfit. I got this from my dad. He was a super minimalist and had capsule wardrobe in 1980s. In our childhood days, he would choose dress for us according to our undertones( my sister neutral and I am warm toned) and fit. He was just classy and stylish. He would never let us out without checking our dress, hair and shoes in all angles. We have made fun of him those days. But ...I would have been in a better shape if I had you today. Miss you Pappa 😘 Thankyou Anna for sharing this

Aww. I miss father too. My father was a lawyer so he really dressed up well. He taught me that for men, when they sit and pants pulled up a little bit, no skin should be showing that's why his socks are long to make sure no hair and skin showing up when he sits down. His ties are always matching with his shoes. During those times I was the one in charge cleaning all his boots and shoes. For me it was a fun play to be the " shoe shine girl." Men in the old times dressed up really well.

I don't know my undertone, but I do know that certain colours and tones look horrible on me. Yellow and orange, for example. Terrible. Well, maybe a very pale yellow, with a cool understone would look okay on me. But most oranges and yellows look bad. And anything with muddy undertones, like, you know, all those awful muddly-toned colours from the 70s. Mud yellow. Mud burnt orange. Muddy avacado.

For loose threads - use a needle threader (preferably the wire type). Sometimes clipping the thread can start fraying. Working from the back side of the fabric / inside of the garment, poke the threader through to the outside of the garment, as close to where the thread pokes out, capture the thread and pull it through to the other side. This works for loose threads, as well as pulled threads on knit or tweed garments.

I’ve come to adore Anna. She started as a “mid-class” young woman who met very wealthy men & her lifestyle changed. Though just 2 dates maybe, and now a partner; the truth we know that’s how the wealth began. No, not all of us have that luxury. So she speaks a lot about high end brands, and pricey items, which is what she became used to. Has she done videos that speak of accessories for the middle class such as myself? Also, I think she was beautiful before she had a bit of work done. Has she ever made a video class on her birth given looks/assets, and, how to work with what we have? She’s very open about what she’s done, and if there are videos on this, can the ladies out there please advise me on them? Many thanks!! 💖💖 EDIT: I removed the ‘jumpstart’ comment because that sounded crude and it wasn’t fair, or like that. I apologize to Anna and the readers; I messed up and I did not mean that in a bad way when I wrote it. With that, I changed it. Apologies.

My trick for tighter shirts where you can see lumps in your back is to wear a nude tanktop. Wolford makes great ones, especially for wearing under sheer shirts

I prefer bralettes, instead of bras. Bralettes are what they're called here, anyway. You know what I mean, hopefully. You can get seamless ones, and they are one million times more comfy than regular bras/underwire bras. Also, if you're like me, and you want to de-emphasize your chest, that's another reason bralettes are great....I don't want to emphasize things with underwire, thick cups, or, even worse, push up. Bralettes also mean a more natural look. I think I look weird in things like wire bras, which make things.....stick out more than is natural. I mean, I think this is fine if a person is small-chested and wanting to emphasize that area, but, unfortunely for me, I have the opposite problem with too much on top and I hate emphasizing that.

I think the same, with the hair on the left she looks younger and it looks like she has more hair or thicker hair with more volume

She looks more approachable with her hair down, instead of controlled to the side.

She looks sexy on the left picture. I like her hair like that on the left picture much better, more attractive.

Style uniform is such a good tip and now that I have a smaller wardrobe there are definitely two or three items I pick when I'm rushed but know will work and still be elegant.

One question... how does an “apple” shaped person look elegant, your first image shows an unbelted top as unelegant, but as for me, with my very normal weight, medium height but with big breasts and roundish belly, a belt around the waist over a shirt or sweater looks horrible. What do you suggest for us “apples” desiring to be elegant? Also, those of us who are gifted in the bustline? I find many chic clothes just don’t hang well over a generous bust...

Hi Cheryl, could you look at ladies like Meghan Markle or Angelina Jolie for inspiration? Apples tend to have beautiful slim wrists and legs which are very elegant
@Mmmmkaaay3 жыл бұрын
Wear the belt high, almost in an empire form under the breasts. Wrap dresses look great on every figure but especially apples with large chests because it creates dimension and shape in just one garment.
@jacquelinexlara3 жыл бұрын
@@Mmmmkaaay Agreed I think a bit of flare under the bust looks great. That with some sleek pants would look super beautiful and elegant. I also agree with wrap dresses and tops. I think that another thing that looks very elegant is things that help carry the line ie. long skirts and dresses.

Girls please correct me if I’m wrong but in regards to the last point that Anna mentioned, some body types shouldn’t actually highlight the waist. For example the apple body type. This will bring more attention to the area where which you actually should rather camouflage.

The late Sandy Dumont had it right. Warm clothes & makeup on warm skin just emphasize the yellow. Most bronze skin tones actually look better with cool, jewel tones such as fuschia, royal blue. It was true for my deep skin tone & for decades i followed the old advice. But i never looked my best in those colors

When you have NATURAL double D breasts, your belt fixation is not a good thing. Only makes the breasts look larger .I've noticed most if your fashion suggestions are for women with small blossoms

@Constance Denchy I see your point about belting. Maybe she’ll do a video specifically for this body type soon.
@Rose-ge9si3 жыл бұрын
(to get the hour glass shape that most women want) It can take making something look larger to make your waist look smaller...covering up adds extra bulk which can make yourself appear larger than you truly are
@cUser6913 жыл бұрын
@@Rose-ge9si Agree. Thx, Rose. While I try to embrace my shape I still made decision to give myself curves where there were no longer any: Shapewear. Now I have curvy bottom + hips. Now the waist is more defined. It has been a game changer.
@divacirce28453 жыл бұрын
Also being fortunately endowed I agree belting does make the waist look smaller! I live by this rule. Belting too tight typical emphasizes the chest! Belts always polish a look too. The belt fixation is definitely a GOOD THING!

May I recommend trying a thinner belt and putting it on your natural waist, not just below the breasts?

Olive Undertone is its own category but it leans cool contrary to popular belief that it is warm. Cool tones suit me the best! You can also see Audrey Coynes video about this but it helped me because I was told I was warm but looked terrible in warm tones. Olive is cool!!! xx
