its better to play aggressive and take risks than playing too safe. I think you can become a grandmaster like your parents if you know when to take risks and when not to take risks in the most stressed games. I really believe that.

It is admirable that you still experiment in your games even on tournaments. Even though it's not safe, it seizes a valuable opportunity to increase your chess skill because you're experimenting against high-level players, who will put your theories into true test.

Super cool to see how much chess is a such an internal psychological battle - almost more so than against your opponent. Especially at these pre and intermediate master levels. You are good enough to be dangerous - meaning you understand all the threats and can calculate out at a good level but you don’t trust yourself enough in key moments and second guess your over the board analysis constantly. You are always seemingly just as close to defeating yourself as your opponent is to beating you. Thanks for these awesome perspectives, Anna!
