பல வருஷம் முன் மௌண்ட் ரோடில் அன்னலட்சுமி முன் நின்று கொண்டிருந்தேன். அப்போதெல்லாம் எளிய ஆடையில் இருப்பேன் . காலில் ஷூ இல்லை , பாத்ரூம் செப்பல்தான் . ஆனால் பேண்ட் பாக்கெட்டில் பத்தாயிரத்துக்கு மேலே கேஷ் இருந்தது , வெளியே நின்றிருந்த செகூரிடி கார்ட் ஆடை வெகு ரிச் , அவர் என்னிடம் சொன்னார் அங்கு உணவு விலை அதிகம் என்று ஒரு தொகையை சொன்னதாக நினைவு . நான் அங்கு பாதசாரியாகத்தான் சென்றிருந்தேன் . ஏழைகளுக்கே உரிய ரோஷத்துடன் திரும்பிவிட்டேன் ! கடந்த ஒரு மாமாங்கமாக என்மகனுடன் குடும்பத்துடன் சென்னையில் உள்ள சைவ உணவகங்களை சுற்றிச் சுற்றி வருகிறோம் . எப்படியோ அன்னலஷ்மி விடுபட்டு விட்டது . இதை பார்த்தப்பிறகு தெரிகிறது இப்போது அன்னலஷ்மி இருப்பது எழுமூரில் என்று ! என் மகனிடம் பேசவேண்டும் . அன்னலஷ்மியை அன்று மிஸ் பண்ணியதை. இன்று அஷ்ட லஷ்மியின் ஆசிர்வாதமும் இருக்கிறது !
