Dear Listener, this recording has some copyrighted music in the video so YT plays ADS to collect revenue for the record company. I have no control over the ads that appear as it is all KZbin placing ads for the music companies as I used copyrighted material in this old recording. My channel is not monetized so I make no money from them or the ads that appear. I try not to use copyrighted music anymore. If you purchase a KZbin premium subscription you can avoid ads. The responsibility is all on your end.

@SamaneriJayasara4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion Tony. I have thought about reading something from Robert Adams but not sure if you are aware of how litigious his family is in terms of a wiff of copyright infringement. I suspect if I do one of his readings his family will complain to YT and they will issue me a copyright infringement which I'd like to avoid, so I think I'll avoid him for now! I do enjoy his teachings however and have many of them.

@@SamaneriJayasaraO my. Sorry. Yes I am aware of how litigious his family is. I completely blocked that out for a moment. I posit since that there is only the Self (as Ramana says) that everything is Real for nothing is outside the Self. It is just that the Self is different in Life so not to be alone. Hence this very important verse: By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another - John 13:35.

The definition of Bhagavan about "real" is that real means "temporary" or "a real thing doesn't change." So who watched the Self which you can't detect with sense to decide that the "Self" is real (specifically defined). Yes I heard before it is a paradox.

Reality/Truth must, necessarily, be ALL-INCLUSIVE! Everything that is perceived exists, is real. The little bit of Mind that you perceive at any moment, from your tiny unique Perspective is as 'real' as anything/everything. The tiniest acorn is as much the mighty oak as the wide trunk and deep roots! The illusion is that our own tiny unique Perspective is the only reality, a dangerous belief!

No one can do that unfortunately. Only you yourself can know directly when the time is right. And for that, "you" have to get out of the way and abandon all desire for any experience.
