This is one of the best ballet costumes I have ever seen and certainly the best one for Esmerelda. Her extension a la second and in arabesque was phenomenal. Her expression and musicality also stellar. She is blessed.

@gay AF it isn't very hard but it is hard. Stay on one leg - not easy, stay on thoes of one leg and jump on it like that - that is hard. I used to dance but after problems with my knee I quit.

Потрясающе , brava, пересмотрела десятки роликов -и Осипова лучшая, техника, образ ,драйв , а какое чуставо ритма -великолепна.У всех соверменных при исполнении оркестр исполнчет композицию o значительно замедляя темп, забывая самое главное Эсмеральда озарная Цыганка ,а не аристократка с бубноном и здесь не может быть замедленного темпа.Так что Осипова-это Прима, а остальным пожелаю творческих успехов.

I'm neither a dancer, nor I know anything about ballet techniques. However, I am classical singer -therefore, a performer. I've improved my stage presence by watching ballet videos. Also, after seeing hundreds of dancers on here, I've become more aware of the musical phrasing. I don't know if Natalia has beautiful feet, or if her arabesques have to improve. I don't care if she doesn't beat the tambourin extending her legs to her head, or if her arms are not "good enough" for Swan Lake. This is what I see: a beautiful girl feeling the music. Her movements are evenflowing; her whole body is constantly phrasing - I asume that's why she doesn't look robotic in this variation; - and she is so graceful that it's imposible to not love her. Also, she's a damn good actress. Natalia: I wished more opera singers could watch your videos, so they would understand that music and body are one.

What makes her not so good for swan lake is that she is just explosive and powerful! While the character of Swan lake is grace so she doesn't fit the part, while is Esmerelda and Don Quixote is explosive and powerful.

This was a long time ago but I'm watching it again swan lake seem to be like done with this grace more than anything but she does it differently like wi h a striving to escape the life as a swan which can turn some people off because it's different but I like it but her jumps are super amazing
