Kodaikanal is small town situated near Batlagundu in Dindigul District of Tamil Nadu in the Western Ghats. Kodaikanal is about 120 Kms from Madurai and about 530 kms from Chennai. Though the ideal season for visit Kodaikanal is from March to May of every year, after Jube 1st is said to be off season as rain starts after 1st June. Recently we visited Kodaikanal and spent a few days. The trip to Kodaikanal from Chennai is elaborated here, including our stay at Holiday Home Resort.
