Great review. Thank you! I have the first gen model and absolutely adore it. I had tried so many head straps, most of which disappointed. But the first gen Annapro works like a charm for me. I honestly don't know why Apple didn't ship with something just like it.

V1 is working ok for me but maybe sits a little too far forward and low so I’m curious about trying v2.

Sounds like the padding is too weak. It sounds like its great for you at first then gets worse. Replacing the cushion starts it all over again.
