As soon as I saw 11:45 move I was like: "he's cheating". My suspicion was gradually increasing, but he made some moves that threw me off, but that rook moves is unreal. To anyone who doesn't follow chess that seriously, Hikaru took a second to realize the power of that move and I guess it would have taken me the entire day, and it's a maybe whether I would've found it or not. That move screams computer assistance because there are "less sophisticated ways" to win, and humans usually do those, computers are the only ones who consistently come up with this stuff.

Not to mention if he had seen rook f4 in his head, he would've played queen h6 and knight e7 much faster, since that's much easier to calculate than Rf4, which he played instantly.

I went to his profile, looked up his games and saw nothing suspicious. I can also come up with a breathtaking move sometimes, as I am a strong tactical player. Strong move and a great sacrifice not always mean that a player is a cheater

Idea for future sub battles. Start from the lowest rated player, then play winner stays on with the lowest rated remaining player from the other team/teams playing the winner. Keep going untill there is only 1 team remaining (winning team).

To answer Anna’s question around 15 minutes regarding beer: the United States’ hyper-consumerism has led to every single ‘product’ you could think up. Theres mikes hard lemonade here, which are basically lemonade beer. Its a common stigma by Americans that those are “female drinks” though, and that men should drink plain beer and liquor

I gotta disagree with Hikaru though on one of his thoughts on donations. What about companies that make big donations with their logo attach and have big days so they can appear to have charitable status with the community when really they are corrupt greed-mongers. Donating still needs to be done for the right reasons and to the right organisations. Also Personally I would never donate to cancer research because I don't believe cancer has a cure in a bottle form but it has been cured with other medical practices.
