I will miss you Anna, even if I think you didn't left

Just hearing you talk at first about your loved one who was struggling the first thing that comes to mind is alcohol. It is hopeless if it alcohol, there is a solution though. 12steps must be taken or hopeless of course.

Anna Rudolf was the first female I followed for chess instruction. Very entertaining and instructive. Then I discovered Anna Cramling who is equally entertaining and knowledgeable about chess. Be nice to see Miss Rudolf return, then I can ditch Susan Polgar, haha. Vinny, England

Hi Anna! It was good to find out why you disappeared from You Tube. Glad you are making progress and that you are achieving a more balanced life. It will be nice to watch your videos when you make them but stay true to your goal to make them sporadically and not go back to the way things were. I wish you health and happiness!

Let me help. I left content creation because I'm too old to garner an audience on new media platforms and eventually couldn't delude myself into thinking I was going to be able to make a living. What was especially soul-crushing was when I started to get hooked into all these bigger channels and tried to collaborate to boost my content where they would only be willing to do for one or two times before brushing me off, including other larger chess streamers which was a repeating cycle of hope and rejection. The shrinking viewership past the point where what I was making would support my lifestyle. For instance, my 17k Squid Game video would have only made me $34-$68 USD. My husband meanwhile was making ~200k a month and so I quit. This is how I've recontextualized all of this to maintain my narcissitic self-image

Caught your video a little late, but I relate to what you said a lot. I had a friend who had a substance abuse problem; even after many attempts at helping them, the situation barely changed. I made myself the same questions you did: Did I try hard enough? Did I do everything I could? The simple answer is, yes. We do everything in our power to help the people we love, but we can’t pick their brain and make them do what we want. We can surround them with the strongest support system there is but, at the end of the day, they still have free will.

Wow. What a confession! Thank you so much. Honestly, I was wondering „where is she?“. Now it became clear. Usually I say „work hard, play hard“. But if there is no more time or energy left for the second part, than it‘s time for a change. My greatest respect to you, for having the guts to change and to let us all know.

I always enjoyed watching your chess videos and learned a lot through your way to explain chess to newbies. Therefore I am looking very much forward to your future chess projects. Although I never got to know you in person, it always came across that you are a human being with a huge heart 💗 Take good care of yourself! 🫶 Real life is so much more important than your 'digital' life ...

Jet black squares and jet back pieces - not a good choice as in poor light you cannot make easy distinction between pieces. 4 colours are wiser for a chess set and pieces.

While my situation was not the same, it wasn't an issue of the person not trying. No, she tried very hard. I still understand the frustration of watching a loved one fall with no way to help them. I also went through a feeling that I didn't do enough for another family member. I'm glad you are recovering, and you have wonderful people in your life to support you. I found you through Kevin and I don't regret it one bit. I'm cheering you on.

Honestly! if your episodes bring that spontaneity and likability (along with the topics) that’s going to be HUGE for me! looking for big, very BIG stuff! Bring that fire again with the different new you! Much love!

You are such a beautiful person. Not just physically pretty, though you are 😊 but as a person. You are someone others should aspire to be. You love so much, you are so open and kind. You want to help others, help them feel peaceful and happy. I would love this kind of discussion, delving into the darkness to find some light. Please take care, and never lose that love. I doubt you could.

This may sound odd and I do not mean to intrude or bother or make you relive all that experience...but, may I speak to this person directly? I believe, with god's help inchallah, I can convince them to change their view and mind! I mean no disrespect, but you've tried everything so far...what you got to lose?

Hi Anna I just wanted to say that I’ve been following you since you started streaming, and I’ve always admired how kind, warm, and helpful you are. It’s clear you’re going through a really tough time right now, and I just wanted to let you know I’m thinking of you en sending you much love. I am glad you are already feeling better. I’ve been through a difficult period myself, and something that helped me was realizing that, even when things feel hopeless, sometimes all you can do is love the people you care about and accept their choices. Somehow, things do have a way of working out in the end. Wishing you much strength and comfort as you go through this ❤🙏

As someone whose mother AND father struggled with drug/alcohol addiction my entire childhood, I completely understand what you’re going through. It’s so hard trying to help them with your entire heart.. only for them to continue letting you down. Whatever you’re going through, I’m so sorry. But you are incredibly strong and I am so proud of you ❤️❤️ don’t give up ! We love you Anna
