Joking about it is fine. But anyone who dislikes it heavily needs to really get a grip. It's not like he does not allow breaks or sitting down in general. The fact that legitimate film critics jumped on that thought train makes me very unhappy, especially given how they were missing essential information (that rule is really only for Nolan himself, I checked Matthew Modine's similar comments and he said basically the same thing)

Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman are unique in their work ethics and portrayal of characters. Serious acting is exhibited throughout their portfolios. Future legends of the film and stage have merged in their industries with the addition of TV/Cable opportunities as a convergence of top celebrities from America and across the pond culminates. Thus, I predict the continuing ... most treasured actors and actresses that can establish global block buster appeal will tend to be those with cross mixtures of professional training. I can't wait to see Anne and Hugh paired in global franchises of movie roles showing their diversity through writer collaborations of unique characters. Musical movies, operatic cinema, grassroot horrors, epic sci-fi and drama are phasing out the superhero 2000 to 2019 trends. The favorite heroines and villains will dominate, globally, no matter what category. However, Oscar winning performances and awards across the continental spectrum should be THE NEW MODE for our beloved celebrities to strive. It's time that shared boundaries be considered, when unique talent is exceptionally expressed. Earth is a global planet, so why can't our love of visual cinematic rewards be? Let's see if this can happen? Deveree G (9/27/2020)

Darn right there's a stigma. Very few people know that I struggle with severe depression. I realized years ago that people will assume that you are "crazy" and give you the side-eye when they find out so I learned to only trust a few people with that issue. Also, it definitely presents differently for different people. When I'm depressed, I don't lay in bed. I am highly functional so I can go to work, put on a happy face, and get work done. However, when I get home, I cry sporadically and have zero motivation to get anything done around the house. I feel overwhelmed and can't make any decisions about what to do first. The hardest part is trying to make plans. I never know when the dark clouds are going to gather over my head and rob me of my energy.

Anne has the kindest most emotionally sensitive and intelligent authenticity to be discovered in her acting, observing "just Anne" with a friend Is so easily telling of the proof in her in real life & impossibly angelic attitude, we have to credit her for being the most Incredibly gracious friend to all the people whose lives she's touched with her sporadic kindness (witch is no act) and psychic understanding of what a cinematic treasure is, certainly her directorship is some of the most poiniant tragic impactful media mastery of our generation. Btw ... Hue Jackman is totally Sigma here, girls love that kinda complimentary disposition, maybe even Anne 😏 . Thank-you both very much for sharing this conversation, looking back it's easy to see this is the zoom call that kicked off the bad pandemic mojo, ... one concerning harrowing problem that left everyone in need of a morale boost, a friend, and some thoughtful words... not even a problem. amazing 👏
@AndrewNation132 жыл бұрын
Basically it's the healing power that can emerge in a performance when the directors take something painfully eventful in a characters life and attach the emotional inverse of that pain or event to analogous acts of opposing emotions, she just does that without having to "get it" 🔥 that's what we call cinematic mastery... or wizardry
