I was at a house party hosted by a famous ESPN personality in their backyard BBQ... A flamboyantly older gay gentleman was swinging his arms in storytelling mode, and I saw Anne coming through the kill zone and the flailing arms, and how it would unfold, and I literally grabbed the guy's wrist as it did a "Hi-Yah" towards her nose. She said "thanks" and kissed me on the cheek. That's it. That's my one Anne Hathaway story in 16 years of living in LA. She was wearing a baseball hat, and was shorter than I expected. As an aside to a couple of things that Anne Hathaway mentioned in her interview I`d like to comment on just how out of touch & indeed reality these Hollywood types appear to be. Has anyone listening to what she said ever had a single exhilarating time during the last almost year since the pandemic was officially declared to be one...I doubt I would describe my time as an exhilarating one. People are struggling all around the world just to make it day to day & many are dealing with the death of family members, friends et al, loss of jobs, businesses, just to mention a couple of things that are now day to day issues. If you look at the world population, very few people have the lifestyle that Anne Hathaway has. I am not saying that she does not deserve to have and enjoy what she has...I am suggesting that she look outside the box, eyes wide open... On a lighter note, her comment about people starting to smoke again...she stated not too many years ago that after hiding her filthy habit for years it was long overdue for her to finally quit for good. Oh really...she has quit twice since then & in both of her movies that she has released in 2020, she is seen chain smoking in both...looks like an IRL smoker in both as well...job well done Anne...not ! To all of you out there, stay healthy & be safe...do not take life for granted because as we all have all seen it can come back & bite you in the ass very quickly !
