You definitely not the only one! So please don’t feel bad!!! I love her voice and thorough research and style myself! If you’re ever in the mood for another truly excellent storyteller, I recently came across a channel called They Got Away With Murder by Mark Maguire and his voice and British accent is absolutely soothing and just an absolute JOY to listen to! So, if you’re ever looking for something new (like after you’ve watched all of Stephanie’s, 😝), he does all old timey (1800s & early 1900s) cases and his writing style and narration are absolutely superb!

I don't know if this will help you, but it helped me when I was going through a really rough time and unable to sleep because of everything I had experienced and done over the course of several years. I would start journaling before I went to bed. Sometimes I would write about my day, sometimes I would write about anything that came into my head. It just helped to get those thoughts that keep you awake because they go around and around and around, out of my head and onto paper. I would start feeling tired, my mind finally calm, and I would set my journal down and see if I would fall asleep. If any more thoughts came in and started going on the treadmill, I would pick the journal back up and start writing my thoughts again, but usually I would fall asleep pretty quickly after the first journaling session.

One thing that strucks me hard is the relationship this beautiful woman had with food. It's so sad cause her life ended so suddenly (I think.. don't know the whole story yet) and I've got the feeling for all of it she was very hard on herself and didn't get to enjoy it in the fullest. Be kind to yourself girls, treat your bodies nicely ♥️ at the end it will be one of the most important things you have got in life. (I hope it's understandable, english is not my first language.)

Very true, I struggled with anorexia ans bulimia for 15 years and after trying to get help from 4 different treatment centers, I found someone who I felt I could trust. Not only the amazing therapist but also the birth of my first child, that really changed the way I looked at myself and the obsession I had with my weight. A lot of what she explained to her physciatrist I can Tecate to completely. However , everything you said is correct and your body is what keeps you going on another note, if you don't eat you can't think...your brain needs food. If you're struggling with any of these symptoms of similar thoughts please, look online and see what's available whr4 you live. Its not always easy to find someone worth speaking with in regards to such private things but it could save your life(out of the 4 treatment centers I've gone to for this 7 of thr girls have tragically died, all under the age of 30.) I promise, you're not alone♡

Being from Delaware, I just HAD TO click on this!!! I actually have a story about Tom Capano too! I was 15 the Summer that Anne Marie Fahey went missing and I was working at a dry cleaners in Wilmington, DE. Well, one day, Tom Capano came in there with a pair of Dockers khaki shorts that had blood splatter all over them! Now this was when she was still missing and he hadn’t been arrested yet, but he was the main person of interest. Well, I start a ticket and write his name on it and then when I see the blood (he told me that he had cut himself shaving, by the way!!! But this was absolutely high velocity blood splatter, looking back- no doubt in my mind!), my naive 15 year old self just gave him the usual speel about how we could not accept garments with any type of bodily fluid on them yada yada yada, so he took his shorts and walked out. I crumpled up his ticket and when I turned around to toss it into the waste basket, all of my coworkers were standing behind me like 😮😮😮😮😮!!! I didn’t even put 2 + 2 together until they told me after he had left! And at this time, you got understand that there were posters and flyers with her face all over town and his name was all over the news!!! When I went home and told my grandmother what it happened, she freaked out and told me never to tell a soul about what I had seen cuz his family would have me killed and then stuffed into concrete somewhere in one of their many construction projects around our area! And believe it or not, I never did until years later when the prosecutor, Charles Oberly, was teaching my Criminal Law class at the University of Delaware. I mean, it wouldn’t have mattered since I didn’t take the shorts so my eyewitness account wouldn’t prove much, if anything at all, without them. But anyway, I just still cannot believe just how arrogant and callous this guy had to be to walk into a dry cleaners with bloody shorts right smack dab in the middle of that investigation!!!! I guess it just goes to show what type of person he truly was. And quite frankly, knowing everything that I know now almost 26 years later- that absolutely wasn’t from a shaving accident!!! I could put every penny I own on that one!!! 🤨

Girl I hope you feel better! My husband is getting over covid, I tested negative somehow but was very sick. Hot and cold chills constantly, can’t taste anything, headache, congestion, sore throat, aches etc. it was one of the worst illnesses I’ve ever had. I still think I had covid but for some reason tested negative. I have a feeling you had a lot of the same symptoms. Get well soon! Thanks for uploading even though you’re not feeling great. ❤️

As a resident of Delaware I am so ready to hear your details on this one! I work in Wilmington and only live about 15 minutes outside of the city. I read Ann Rule’s “And Never Let Her Go” which is a true crime book about this case when I was in high school and it made it even more fascinating to me. The Capano family is HUGE here and still owns/built a huge part of this area.

I read the book too but listening to Stephanie bringing Anne to life, is somehow more heartbreaking. Ann made a point of when the police were looking for DNA, her HAIRBRUSH was totally clean. I moved to Delaware from California about 8-9 years ago. My husbands family was close with the Capanos. And now so am I. Kay and the girls are some of the sweetest most beautiful people inside and out. We actually use one of his back road routes to get to Stone Harbor. Whenever we are on it we always speculate what was going through his head while he was rushing down there that night. Also it’s pronounced Cuh-pan-oh. And the DuPont estates are beyond beautiful. The gardens are just absolutely amazing. And the actual houses are just as amazing. If you’ve never been but you’re close go. You won’t regret it.
