Whem, i was little. We only got oranges at christmas. So oranges are christmas. Pa. Dutch always put an orange in the stockings. I so wish it was simpler times.

@ I loved anything that was my grandma’s. She knew that I loved this primative oil painting that I used to see all of the time when I visited her One day she took it off of the wall and gave it to me. She was such a loving person and I miss her so much. Actually I was named after her. Keep those beautiful,bent knives and use them to always remember her in your heart ❤️

Fun video❤. I bought a new dehydrator at a yard sale for $5, got it out and did orange, lemon and lime slices in it before I went to bed. They were perfect in the morning and look like stained glass with the tree lights. I have some I’ve had for 5+ years, they store well

I heard someone say to sprinkle the orange slices with a little salt, it draws out the moisture and prevents browning

It looks like my electric one I’d love to have a wood one some day . I got a wood base to sit it on gonna make a faux pipe out it and just got a free round with 2 leaves pine American traditional kitchen table older but matches my chairs so I’m moving tables around tomorrow and then my tree is going up lol.

Ann I spray my fruit after I dry them with a clear sealant so they last longer and they won’t attract bugs
