Good to hear, thanks for posting. So obvious Gene had a rough time in many ways, yet persevered. One of the great talents. He recorded Bird Doggin' for goodness sake...just brilliant and so many great records. Thank you Gene. You could save my life one of these days.

Thanks for the info. After watching the documentary that was made a few years before he died, I can understand some of the anger; with the way the promoters screwed him so much.

Its interesting that in 1968 the 50s was talked about like it was so, so long ago, but nobody talks that way now about 2014

Have this interview on a single. Interesting. Big contrast hearing Gene here and how he could be in real life BUT the important thing is the legacy he left (and Eddie too)
