Organ makes it sound even more fairy and its also a pretty complex instrument to play as i can see

this really works well on organ, it sounds like retro clair de lune

The registration in the beginning sound like an accordion very cool reed sounds!

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed listening to this several times with my headphones on and in my car. I definitely prefer hearing this on the organ over the piano. Very nice!

it sounds more melancholic and nostalgic on the piano for me.

Yes! The first time I heard this piece was the piano original version. My first impression was why is such an idea written for piano? Organ version is definitely much more natural!
@איןסוף Жыл бұрын
it sounds more menacing and powerful on an organ, and more melancholic and nostalgic on a piano.
@jamesherried9269 Жыл бұрын
No, this piece was so idiomatically written for and uniquely suited for the piano, that it simply doesn't work well on any other instrument; including the organ. Just like the piano music of Chopin.

this was played too rushed in my opinion in the beginning part, i think playing it slowly brings out more emotion especially playing on the organ. the other parts were beautiful, otherwise. great video!
@TheDrunkMunk4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, also I'd argue that the rests are one of the most important parts of Claire de Lune. You don't get any silence at all here. She's clearly talented and doing better than I can do but the rests are really important.
@BeanSneaksPH3 жыл бұрын
Try listening how claude actually played this. More slow doesnt mean more emotions
@johnle2313 жыл бұрын
Yeah he plays it fast
@UnaMoscaEnLaPared3 жыл бұрын
@@BeanSneaksPH How Debussy recorded it a long time ago was probably constrained by the time limitations. It's by no means a useful reference. The tempo could actually be the result of a lack of enough media to record it.
@BeanSneaksPH3 жыл бұрын
@@UnaMoscaEnLaPared he himself recorded his whole piece its like a ²hour long record you think hed speed up just claire de lune
