A couple fails for me that come to mind are the ABH Foundation, DEFINITELY the Elf liquid blushes, Tula Under Eye Stick-I’m sure there are more but that’s what stands out.

My fail was the CT setting spray. Dried out my skin and made my makeup crack. I should have checked the ingredient list first as at has Niacinimide which I’m allergic to.

I had the same experience with the foundations you mentioned. I have oily mature skin. I only follow creators with similar skin types. Steph Marie and Risa and you.❤❤❤

Gosh I love the benefit mascara. I was going to get the brown. Its lighter then the Tarte maneater brown that I use. Benefit the only one that really curls my lashes. The plum one is amazing for fall

Hi Anne, I didn’t like the channel foundation stick either. I was so bummed because it would be so easy to travel with. I have combo skin and really don’t have large pores but that stick made me feel like I did in certain areas. It also clung to any dry patches I had. I don’t have that problem with most liquid foundations. The color was a really nice match for me and I tried so many combos but couldn’t make it work. I returned it!

BAD GIRL in BROWN is GREAT for no makeup makeup days. I use on the tips of my hair lashes for natural look. Also, great for silver hair, ultra-light blonde hair, fair eye-brows, and fair skin because black mascara can be too harsh

All products work differently on different people, and personally, if i look at reviews and they are 100% all good..its Not True! Either the company has filtered out any negative comments, or they are all paid for reviews.... so yes, you have to make up your own mind, and just because a product is $100, doesn't always mean it will work better, or even as good as the $20 product

That glowy Rare Beauty blush also shows up skin texture if used too heavily, need the fluffiest brush and a light application, try that, just high on the cheeks after bronzer, if it works, you can use it instead of it being a waste. Xxx

I almost bought the Dior stick even though I didn’t think it would be good for my skin. Every review was saying how great it was. I finally found someone maybe it was Sofia Sees and she said if you’re oily you may not like it. The first KZbinr who offered something to think it might not be great for everyone. Thank goodness! And now CD came out with a foundation that is a better match for me.

Do you know what's interesting? Is that this was created because of a tackle box. Vanna White stored her makeup in one and the rest is history. These were very popular in the late 80's.

I totally get that. I purchased a highlighter, blush and I think a bronzer from HG several years ago. I didn't get the hype at all. But I did purchase one of the blush palettes from the fall and was pleasantly surprised at how much I love it. I don't think I'd purchase another because this one will last me many years.

The Natasa Denona I Need a Nude eyeshadow palette has been my most disappointing makeup purchase this year. Despite its popularity, I fail to understand its appeal, particularly among women over 40. I'm 46, and it makes my eyes look worn out - not what I'm going for!
