Could be I'm even seeing merit in those old songs, an echo of the enthusiasm that older generations felt for them. So you walk up to the mic dressed as a lounge singer from Las Vegas' long-ago heyday and give us the softest, most heart-wrenching rendition of the song I've ever heard. It works exceedingly well, and the videography was inspired, too. I'm glad to be a subscriber. You never disappoint, Anne.

Please stick around. Reading your post helped me once again recall the hell I’ve been through the last 3 years and reminding me that with time real healing can occur. I promise you it can. I’ve been in your shoes so please don’t stop trying, don’t force it and don’t pretend. You won’t fool anyone, not even yourself. Make it happen and make it real for yourself. If I can offer you one tip to help you heal, one that I didn’t ever want to do but after much thought, meditation and contemplation I managed to do - was forgive those who had harmed me and negatively impacted me the most. It was not easy and I still often need to remind myself not to lose my place with that. Here’s why it mattered so much and had such a beneficial impact in my healing: because by offering forgiveness to others I was shocked to discover I began to also forgive myself for decisions I had made that led me to places I didn’t belong and never deserved to be in. It caught me completely off guard but it was exactly what I needed. I started to remember who I was before others tried to break me and destroy me, my reputation and my life. That was the guy who was happy once and while I’m still a work in progress I’m staying on this path and I will prevail. I have prevailed. You will too. Sending good karma from this fellow traveler. 😊
