Annette Funicello "How Will I Know My Love?" Commercial

In 1957, just before her 'rock n' roll' days, here's Annette ("That Mouseketter that grew up" as Stan Freberg referred to her) singing a cute little harmless number!! I like this song, but anyone who really knows me knows that I have a weakness for Disney rock n' roll, and Annette was one of my favorite pop-rockers!!

I've been watching this serial since discovering it last month. And I really love it. I'm a real Annette Funicello fan, and I really enjoy all her films and songs, including this one. This serial, by the way, recently turned 65 earlier this February.

There was the version from the serial "Annette" and then there was the studio version with back-up voices and no mouth harp. There is a version posted on You Tube listed as MMC version but its really the studio version and this is the TV show version. I know the song popped up on a couple albums so it might have been recorded even more than that. The TV show performance got so many letters that it caused Walt Disney to sign Annette to a recording contract. The rest is history.

She mentions "Don't Jump To Conclusions", but wasn't it actually her "ANNETTE" co-star Roberta Shore that sang that? Or maybe Roberta sang it on the serial but Annette herself sang the recorded version? Anyone really know? D J T O C(Abbr. song title) DOES sound like Ms. Funicello, but is it really her or is it Ms Shore?
