Here is another tip: Don't let your Tibbers die for free. Even after using Tibbers try to keep him alive as long as possible to get the maximum amount of value. You can get it to kill raptors and other camps while you farm lane or send him away to get vision around. Don't let him tank enemy towers while there are minions after you kill the enemy since this would allow enemy laner to spawn and possibly catch those minions. Keeping Tibbers at the max distance also allows you to bait the enemy with its teleport. With this you can block the enemy's way or use Tibbers to block a skillshot enemy thought that would hit. Keep in mind Tibbers gives 50 gold when it dies so you would want to deny that gold going to the enemy if possible.

Not only that your ult cd start counting down when you summon him by keeping him alive can confuse your enemies and make it harder to track your ult cooldown especially when you have high ability haste you can almost immediately resummoned him right after he expires (you can’t resummon him right away due to minimum cooldown that was put in place for certain spells often found in spells that has reactivation ie. lux E where you can detonate later up to 5 seconds the cooldown starts counting down when you cast but was kept at minimum of 2 seconds after detonation)

One thing: Rylai's with the shield and tibbers is incredibly annoying. You lose a bit of burst but it's probably worth it, and it has a very good combo with cheap shot, practically proccing it off cd

For sup Annie, notice that e's reflective dmg also applies scorch to enemies. But this doesn't really save her from being an weak lane champion before lv6. Besides, due to the high ap ratio of Annie's abilities, gathering storm might also be a good choice to improve her late-game win rate. And in my test of cosmic drive(version13.8), Tibbers' auto can stack cosmic drive but doesn't refresh it, in order to use Tibbers to refresh cosmic drive, you need to drag Tibbers away and then go back to burn the enemy again(don't need to worry about this detail in group fight though), which means only Tibbers' burn dmg can refresh cosmic drive(and the continuous burn dmg can stack cosmic drive just as autos do). A common problem that sup Annie has in late game is that she doesn't have enough space for another legendary item after building Shurelya, Rylai's Crystal Scepter and Morellonomicon. In this case, for those who like cosmic drive, it can be a choice to replace cd boots, since it applies 5% movement speed by default and 20% more once you engage the fight. The cost of this replacement would be -12 summoner spell haste though.

​@@finalsong8284 imo the problem with annie prior to this buff was that she was impossible to use in lane. Her autoattacks have more range than most of her kit, her E does not provide near enough movement speed to all-in into a teamfight or sometimes even the enemy laner, making her really dependant on flash. Protobelt is not near enough, but it helps. The fact that 99% of midlaners and supports countered her hard, made her a troll pick. The change to E's reflect helps against poke champions like caitlyn, ezreal and lux. It's true that she might have been a bit overtuned due to her teamfight capabilities and her burst. But after playing quite the amount of games with her, I still feel that her burst is not that big of a deal as people might believe. As long as Eclipse, Archangel's staff and Shieldbow are a thing, annie's burst is not that big. You need to specifically build Rylai's to make sure you have a chance to kill anything on mid-game unless you're way ahead, which is not usually the case

- She always had one of the longest ranged autos in the game. Started at 625, got nerfed to 575 at some point because she abused it as a support, and then got reverted to 625 once she went back mid. - The addition of ally shield was neat, but she used to be a better 2-way flex even without it when she had higher base damage and longer early stun duration. She now only goes back to her original stun duration at level 16. - The raw damage reflection on her shield has barely been buffed. It's just that now that it also procs on spells, you actually get to use it for real before the shield is broken. Also, the shield used to be a *huge* damage reduction spell (like 40% damage reduction) at some point, which was a lot stronger overall. - Her ratios were buffed but her base damage were nerfed a lot. Old Annie had so much base damage that she infamously could 100-0 any of the meta midlaners at level 6 with no AP. Now she's been made more reliant on AP (which is a good thing but not a straight buff) - Everyone received more base stats over the years due to general damage creep and addition of things like runes reforged So yeah, Annie was thrown some bones over time to remain a playable champion, but framing it like it was only straight buffs is revisionist history. Like a lot of old champions, she has had her power budget reshifted around to fit the times, but only very few flat out buffs.

@@skayles4716 you may be right on the attack range but we cant ignore that they also buffed her base AD growth last season to improve her lane harrass, the utility buff to her E being able to speedboost allies was a huge quality of life buff, and the most recent changes to the champ are scarcely seen on any other league champ besides times like Kassadin E and Ahri/Wukong R. Because the damage reflection on her shield got a parameter buff which is straight up better than a numbers buff. Her popularity this patch alone is higher than any instance in the champ’s history. Pending tweaks to either the champ itself or botlane push prio meta this champ will hold high priority in Pro play as a support. The base stats aren’t really a factor as much as her utility capabilities are since if they need a damaging range support they can always just pick xerath/zyra or an ADC with sickle instead

It's funny because there are no annie "mains" in high elo. Just people who switched to the champion since its strong. It's not like there's any skill expression that someone who has 50 games on the champion could demonstrate that someone with 4 couldn't.

Wrong. There's a lot of stuff you'll learn to do and not to do with Annie after, say, 50+ games. The flash W is just one example, but you'll learn how to use tibbers more efficiently, mainly to bait and annoy people with the teleport range, also to use it to farm camps, and you'll learn not to give free gold to the enemy team by killing the bear. Tricking people with 3 stacks also seems pretty natural once you're seeing other people doing it, but as with every champ, it requires muscle memory. Also, farming with Q during laning phase isn't as easy as it seems, you'll run out of mana pretty quick if you fail to last hit a single minion (this can happen for a variety of reasons). And of course, the decision making concerning bursting main targets and efficiently using summoner spells, which are even more important with Annie than most champs.

@@madsantos Lol you 50% of what you said can be applied to any mage + those are details at the end of the day you can still outburst the carry and let your bear do the rest if you die, in laning phase you burst and shield so you get one of the most (Normaly its the best because its ez) trads, stun is literally brain dead all this together make her an assasin with a mage kit nothing can explain this or make it understandable ez champ ez damage free winrate but the easiest thing about her is the perma ban that is actually meta because of the insane double lane efficiency, i am just talking about midlane here so you can imagine the rest. For your laning problems at the beginning dont worry you will get use to it there is alot of champion that cant be played well until lvl 6 you will get better with some experience on those champions.

I haven't watched the video but here are some Annie things that you might want to have into consideration: 1. The hardest matchups are long range mages: Azir, Oriana, Syndra and Cassiopeia (if it's a good one), you can do literally nothing against those champions and your only hope to win or not lose your life/turret is hoping that your jungler ganks you. 2. If the enemy laner is a champ that has very good wave clear and tends to roam a lot, max W instead of Q. You're very unlikely to 1v1 him/her and win it, so the best you can do is try to match it's wave clear and move along. The Annie buffs aren't going to last, but the fact that Annie was meta even in proplay is something that makes me happy since I have been playing her from the very beginning of league (8 years now) although lately it's been just a 1 in a month game.

Because that's just wrong. They're "the most broken" because they're easy. But easy champions have easy counters. Hard champios have less counterplay. You can counter annie with lots of stuff. Basically any champion that has an anti-burst mechanic, like Galio, Ryze, Yasuo and Yone as long as you're not dumb, Sylas, Mordekaiser, Veigar sometimes, Pantheon... I could go on forever. The list is long

Tibber is stronger than a full scale champion, it is always a hard 6v5, you build rylai and just let tibber walks around people, burns them, they had no means to deal with it.
