A "conspiracy" is an agreement between two or more persons to do something nefarious, to engage jointly in an unlawful or criminal act, or an act that is innocent in itself but becomes unlawful when done by the combination of actors. A "hypothesis" is an assumption made before any research has been done. A hypothesis implies an inadequacy of evidence in support of an explanation that is tentatively inferred, often as a basis for further experimentation, and/or more research. It is formed so that it can be tested to see if it might be true. A "theory" implies considerable evidence in support of an idea. It is a principle formed to explain the things already shown in data. A theory is much more likely to be true than a hypothesis. A "conspiracy theory" is a speculation based on evidence suggesting that an event was planned and carried out. *If/When factual evidence lines up to prove a theory is truth, then it is no longer a conspiracy "theory," it is a "known conspiracy," or a factually proven truth.
@louisejoel8 ай бұрын
A conspiracy isn't always nefarious to the persons conjuring it and that is the problem when it affects people negatively. For example, some people want to reduce the population to save the planet. The intent is "good" in their minds but the outcome is terrible for a lot of people.
@SolusVir4 ай бұрын
@@louisejoel The global "elite" don't want to depopulate the planet! That's just a conspiracy theory! By the way, the stated intent is for public consumption. You better believe that the people denying they are Malthusian cultists who want to depopulate the planet aren't going to tell you their true intent (except in their own documents, which are obscure). The true intent is nefarious. They know they aren't "saving the planet". That's a cover story.

Well, no, it starts with curiosity and asking questions. When the asker of the questions is evaded, dismissed, or demonised for asking questions, then come the theories. It is natural to fill in the blanks with theories when important people clearly don’t want you to know about something
@diegokricekfontanive8 ай бұрын
@@emmahorton3199 The necessity to ask questions, inquire and theorize is absolutely sacrosanct. The problem arises when questions are not really questions but rather confirmatory biases in disguises. Most people into conspiracies fail to understand the difference.
@emmahorton31998 ай бұрын
@@diegokricekfontanive maybe some of those who are naturally attracted to conspiracies, the types who tend to be magical thinkers. But, especially nowadays, there are many who would not have normally been interested in such things but have become much more questioning after seeing a false narrative spun by governments, institutions and the media. Many such people are indeed critical thinkers and that is how they came to realise a false narrative was being told. We may not know exactly what “conspiracy” was spun, but we know what was certainly NOT true (the “official narrative”), based on multiple sources of evidence. Have you not noticed that what you have designated as sacrosanct - asking questions - is demonised by the media and politicians, nowadays. Only about certain topics, of course. But of course that will generate theories. The diff between the stereotypical “conspiracy theorist” and an awakened critical thinker is the process by which the theories are reached, and the strength of our conviction that our theory is correct. The latter may use Socratic questioning, take care to avoid logical fallacies, and take their own conclusions with a grain of salt, but they are both conspiracy theorists, technically. The term “conspiracy theorist” as a derogatory term originated from someone who wanted to stop people questioning the Warren Commission. You are perpetrating CIA propaganda.

@@DavidTaylor-n1z I’m in two minds. The lost century is a beautiful film and he seems genuine, but sometimes when i hear him interviewed I start feeling a bit of a maybe he’s lying vibe.

If any of you bothered to read any of her books a lot of her theories were proved correct by the release of the 50 plus years ago documents recently. One example is the remote viewer program. This info is available upon request.

Does this lady ever start "revealing" anything, or does she just keep babbling about conspiracy theories, and brainwashing, and whining about "know it alls"? I'm starting to think this channel is pure clickbait.

To be honest, a good interviewer should be controlling / directing the interview. If she is wasting time, he should be all over it and straightening her out.
@melissamullen91794 ай бұрын
Disagree. The best thing about DOAC is that he lets his guests talk and does not try to control every aspect. Cuz frankly, many people are over it. The whole control thing is more part of mainstream media…which many of us never, ever watch.
