Annie Lennox : class, grace and talent personified.

What can I even say about Annie Lennox? She is definitely an icon, a class act, and she has such an iconic, unique, and powerful voice, and she's extremely talented! And not to mention her humanitarian work is unbelievable! She is definitely a true, and unique, and a humble and wonderful person and human being!
@irenaholc39904 жыл бұрын
What an honor to have her in music. Her voice, her songs, her everything. But the most awesome thing is she is cool without even trying. She's just herself.

Annie Lennox is an example of true artistry and class. Not just the pop artist of the week. I like how Timberlake mentioned her humanitarian work as something no one knows about. That's true humanitarian work. Secret behind the scenes. Only shown after the fact. Not a photo op on Entertainment Tonight.

Yep she is a special lady and us Scots love Annie so much, like most artists from humble beginnings to the very top these kind of people help change the world because they were born knowing how tough life can be and so she uses that experience to help other people now whilst still giving us her mystical amazing musical vocals to listen to, fantastic person in and out of music very graceful and humble to everyone has very rarely put a foot wrong at all!

What must it be like to be Brittney or Miki and be confronted with an incredible artist like Annie when you know YOU can't sing? My definition of a Diva is a woman who can be placed on a stage with only a piano and hold the audience spellbound for two hours. Annie Lennex is definitely a Diva.

Annie Lennox is a legend. Her voice always puts me in an emotional state. I love her as person. She is a style icon (Justin Timberlakes mentioning of her looking cool and that people that admire her also wants to look cool). I also love her humanitarian work. I have huge respect for musicians who wants to make a difference about how we as people should treat the world and make it a better place than it is. Love you Annie Lennox. You are truly an inspiration and a extraordinary woman. :)

Annie makes the REST of the acts in the room incredibly small and meaningless. When someone of this caliber gives from her heart to help those in need (Africa) it shows the power of music,love and the importance of the gift. Its sad that people idolize Beyoncé,Madonna,Rhianna and so many useless people with zero value,substance nor real importance in the world. You can move mountains by doing instead of flashing the flesh and being trashy. Annie is an example of TRUE CLASS!

Annie moved me deeply. He has one of those unique voices that can turn us into a carousel of feelings. And his eyes ... What can be said! Life itself shines forth in them. Greetings from Argentina! Annie me conmovió profundamente. Tiene una de esas voces únicas capaz de hacernos girar en un carrusel de sentimientos. Y sus ojos... ¡Que se puede decir! Resplandece en ellos la vida misma. ¡Saludos desde Argentina!

I almost missed this event. It happened so long ago. I am happy she thanked Sophie Muller. But the song she sung and the way she performed it surprised me. Somewhere I learned that the song is first a dialog with herself and then a dialog with her fans- she is questioning her fame and the negative things that happen with fame. She is asking us WHY!? The stinging part is at the end she says "...you don't know how I feel" is a rebuke of all her fans and the way she looked at the audience -that audience. When I first heard this song (not the video) those last words troubled me to see that as a touchy statement from a person with issues. I enjoy her work and bought most of her music.

I am sorry but, I do NOT think they should have picked someone like Justin to give the award to an amazing talented legend like Annie. Someone like Stevie Wonder, or another of her 1980's peers and contemporaries would have been more fitting I think.

Pero es Sir Justin... Según la Princesa Fiona🤪 jaja Creo que Justin es perfecto para presentarla, él es el más sobresaliente de toda su generación ¿Por qué? Porque es muy talentoso, como Annie.
