Annie Lennox has a genius IQ and the voice of a Siren. I would shipwreck myself to see her in concert again. Wrapped in what looked like leopard skin, feral and fearless, she tore the roof off the Orpheum. She's right up there with Paul Rodgers and Freddie, a rock goddess, born from original sin. She redeems us every time she sings a note. I hope she lives forever.

when someone like a Voice judge tells a contestant - you don't connect to the song, I always go back to this video. Did they tear it down or did they make it into some type of office space? Man that was crazy that they closed that arena barely 40 years Into its existence. LOL...only a perfectionist like her says " I tried " after delivering such a wonderful performance; the little technical fails actually add layers of expressiveness and meaning to this song. Sting was clearly moved and admired of how she took that song to the depth and emotional complexity he always intended for it.
