Great interview. A wonderful lady, a very kind, beautiful performer. Annie came to Hatfield Poly when I was studying and working on the campus radio station. We sent a very nervous interviewer to meet with her and Dave Stewart. He froze, but she was so compassionate and interviewed herself, rescuing our poor DJ.

I've been a fan ever since 1979 when she was fronting The Tourists, singing I Only Wanna Be With You. Many hits since then of course, both with The Eurythmics and solo. My favourites are Miracle Of Love, Why and No More I Love Yous. And she has a beautiful smile and accent.

I love her voice, singing or speaking. Her song "Why?" is haunting. "Let's go down to the water's edge, we can cast away those doubts, some things are better left unsaid, but they still turn me inside out". When I saw her cradling her stillborn child it broke my heart. God love her forever XX.

I had no idea she had lost a child.I can never understand why people make such a fuss about people such as Annie or other successful or talented artists being so humble.I wouldn't expect anything less quite frankly.To live your life in any way that does not include humility would be a foolish way to live and for their own sanity and happiness humility would be the wisest choice.

I thought the interviewer (who I normally really like) a bit rude during this interview. Interrupting a little too much and somehow disrespectful. Just my interpretation of course.
